The book i read today is called : Autumn Street
When her father leaves to fight in World War 11, Elizabeth goes with her mother and older sister to live in her grandfather's stately old house on Autumn Street. It's there that Elizabeth forms a special friendship with Tatie,
the cook, and Tatie's young grandson Charles.
Whenever Charles comes to visit, he and Elizabeth share wonderful times. But on the winter day that they venture
out though the stinging snow to try Elizabeth's new sled, stark tragedy in the woods changes her safe world forever.
And every time Elizabeth ask her mom why do they have to move in grandpas house and she always say back "because
of the War that her father has to go to so she will get mad because she really don't want to leave where she lives.
Then there was one night that they called her and told her that her father had died, so she rushed to her room and started bursting out crying she got very stressed so stressed that she even tried to kill her self she thought that no one cared about her so her mom called her from her room and started speaking to her about what shes feeling and why she is feeling that type of way.
So they ended up going to they grandpas house and she had to go to school over there and all that so that even got her more mad because she had to lose her friends then her father that's messed up. She asked her self "what is she going to do with out her father" ?
So this girl was very tensed she thought that she had no one but her mom and family.
Then it had took her a while to stop crying about what happened to her father and about how she lost all of her friends and had to start all over again. Well she did get used to it and after she got used to it she got a lot of friends and she liked it she said it was really good and that she really likes the schools.
So i guess what she thought that was going to be bad for her was really good and it was nice place over at Pennsylvania.
